Research On The Differences Of International Competitiveness Of Service Trade In The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region

With the further development of the global economy and the continuous optimization of the industrial sector,the world economy has been turning more and more towards to the service industry.Thus,the service industry comes to play a significant role in the world trade,and to be a power engine of a nation’s economy,all of those,bring out the big attention.Since policy of the reform and opening up,China’s international trade in service has made a big progress.During the year of 2016,the total amount of China’s international trade in service has reached almost 4 trillion yuan,and has became the world’s second largest importer and the third exporter.During the year of 2016,the growth of C hina’s trade in service is still higher than that of the world’s major economies.However,there is still a big gap between C hina and the overall development level of the world in the trade in service.The structure of trade in service is unreasonable and the international competitiveness is also not strong.So,how to enhance the competitiveness of C hina’s international trade in service has become an imminent problem.Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,as an important national strategic areas,shouldering the responsibility and mission to enhance the overall competitiveness of China’s trade in services.Under the national strategy of the synergetic development of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei,it is imperative to develop the international trade in service and improve the competitiveness of the trade in service in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.Therefore,this paper chooses the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region as the research object,explores the differences in the competitiveness of international trade in service in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and how to further develop their respective regional competitiveness.Based on the deeply research of the real development of international trade in service of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,First of all,the essay uses different indicators to set up an evaluation system,to comment the competitiveness of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hbei region.Then,the essay uses the index of international market share and revealed comparative advantage index to compare the competitiveness of different department of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.Then,making a interior comparison,making sure each comparative advantage and position.Finally,here goes to the positive analysis.In this part,the essay will find which factors will affect on the total amount of international trade in services.Based on the theory of Michael Porter’s “diamond model”,the essay selects Gross Domestic Product(GDP),the number of high school’s students and the real condition of using foreign direct investment,total three factors,ranged from the year 2011 to the year 2015,as explanatory variable,while selecting different regions’ competitiveness of international trade in service as variable being explained.Then,by building multiple regression model,to find out how those factors make sense.Finally,through the combination of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis,to find out the problems and the drawbacks of the competitiveness of international trade in service of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.Last but not least,throw out the suggestion.
