The Outline of the Plan for Coordinated Development for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, released in April 2015,as part of China's development strategy. The move entails adjusting the economic structure and rationalizing space utilization, while exploring a new mode of optimized integrated development in a region with a dense population.Due to the different administrative divisions, regional collaboration has many obstacles to overcome – the development plan and policies cannot be connected, industrial layout needs to be further improved, population distribution is imbalanced, traffic development meets bottlenecks, infrastructure fails to match up with demand, resources and energy efficiencies need to be raised. The main research ideas of this paper is that feasible suggestions are put forward on the optimization of industrial structure in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, based on the theory and data model.First of all, according to the optimization and upgrading theory of industrial structure, industrial association theory and the theory of regional economics, this article analyzes industrial structure of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region. The industrial structure is mainly analyzed in four aspects, included the proportion of the three major industries, factor distribution mechanism, industry coordination mechanism and industrial chain mechanism. Then, through the input-output model, the industrial influence and the industry sensitivity of each region of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region and the industrial correlation coefficient between regions are measured. Finally, according to the situation of industrial association for Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, the paper puts forward the industrial structure optimization route and policy suggestion for Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region.
