Agriculture is the foundation of the national economy, and the foodstuff is the foundation of the foundation. The government and people, all the time, are concerned about Food security, they always pay much attention to the protection of cultivated land for protecting the food production.By the end of 2015,in the output of grain,China has achieved a twelve even increase. However, per capita area of cultivated farmland of China is less than half of the world average,it means one of the biggest choke point we are faced with is the limited cultivated land resources.Hence it is difficult to keep the steady growth of grain productionWith the development of economy and society,a wave of development of new urbanization has been set off by Sichuan Province.the faster the non synchronous conversion of arable land, the greater pressure of cultivated land protection.for quite some time,Due to restrictions on production and operating conditions, most of the agricultural production in Sichuan province is an extensive business model,it accelerated the loss of nutrients in the land.Besides, the excessive usage of pesticides, fertilizers and other chemicals have increased the land pollution seriously.Cultivated land is the base of food production, the size and quality of cultivated land will have a direct influence on the grain yield and quality, therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the relation between the protection of cultivated land and the grain production in Sichuan Province. In this paper, the relevant statistical data were queried on the central and local statistical yearbook, and the writer analyzed the present situation of cultivated land and grain production in Sichuan province,it was found that there are some terrible phenomena in Sichuan Provence, such as Significant reduction in arable land, shortage of arable land reserve resources, irrational structure of cultivated land, imbalance of cultivated land occupation and compensation, the serious damage of cultivated land by natural disasters and so on.Fortunately, the sown area and output of grain are generally stable.By means of statistical analysis and empirical analysis, the writer analyzed the effects of cultivated land area and quality change on Grain Yield and quality. And the conclusion is drawn. Finally, the paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions. It is advocated that people should take measures to keep the balance of the total cultivated land, strengthen the supervision and management of land pollution, improve the soil fertility and improve the ability of agricultural disaster resistance for better protection of the cultivated land and grain production in Sichuan. The full text is divided into five parts, the specific contents are as follows:Part one,the first chapter,is the introduction. This part is mainly about the research background and significance of this paper, the research content and methods, the research status at home and abroad,as well as the main innovation points and shortcomings. The contents of the focus is on paper the current research status, which in order to introduce somenecessary knowledge.Part two expounds on the relevantconcepts and theories of cultivated land protection and food production and defines the relevant concepts accurately.Because eachstudyhasits own theoreticalbasis, otherwise it is difficult to convince. This partlaunchesfor thefollowing parts prepares fortheory though the system interpretation of the cultivated land protection and food production related theory. The third part,it is the core part of the paper, which is about a statistical analysis and empirical analysis on the relationship between the quantity and quality of cultivated land and grain production in Sichuan province. It analyzes the concrete corresponding relationship with grain yield change by using regression model. The resultof the model analysis shows the impact of cultivated land quantity and quality of change on food production.Thefourth part mainly describes cultivated land quantity, quality and grainproduction in Sichuan province, and analyzes some cultivated land problems, including land condition and trend of cultivated land change.Furthermore,it analyzes the current situation of grain production in Sichuan province.Part five, under the perspective of food security, the article puts forward the main countermeasures of the cultivated land in Sichuan province. For any research, solving problems is the key point that has to face,it is no sense without solution if you only ask questions.Hence, according to the problems of cultivated land protection in Sichuan province, this part puts forward some corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
