For a long time, the mechanical configuration, patent technology, production experience, staff quality are the most important indicators of the development level of port industry. However, with the development of economic and trade globalization, the competition of port industry is becoming more and more intense. The enterprises are becoming more aware of the staff which is the most fundamental and important factor affecting the development of enterprise management. Owing staff who is equipped with knowledge, skills, and complex talent, making full use of human resource management tools to maximize the potential of employees, thus the enterprise can get shares in the increasingly fierce market. In this environment, business operators have paid more attention and application to human resource management. Employee satisfaction survey is a common tool of human resource management. By investigation,the establishment of the enterprise internal vertical communication channels, truly reflect the enterprise production and management problems, can provide the managers real and reliable basis to make decisions.This paper uses HS Co. as a port enterprise representative to study the general cargo terminal staff satisfaction survey. On the basis of the domestic and foreign research results and human resource management theories, the employee satisfaction questionnaire is designed for HS limited liability company. The questionnaire includes six indicators: Introduction, work, return,team,management and development. Using the Excel and SPSS Statistics21 IBM statistical software to analyze data, excavating the key factors in-depth that affecting the satisfaction of the company.Through the analysis of the data, found that the company in four areas to be perfect.They are the value of employees satisfaction needs further enhancing,the salary incentive system is not perfect,personnel training promotion mechanism is not complete,lack of high-end technical talent.Combined with the company's actual situation,this paper made five suggestions for the HS company. They are setting up the employee satisfaction surveyign system, thus the enterprise can find the existing problems in time;improving the corporate culture, enhancing the enterprise cohesion and appeal;establishing a reasonable appraisal system and salary incentive system,diversifying employee incentive mechanism;setting up scientific training platform,improving employees' comprehensive quality level;strengthening the construction of cadre team echelon, stimulating enterprise development motivity.
