Study On Development Status And Countermeasures Of Mango Industry In Tianyang County

This paper focused on the agricultural pillar industry in Tian Yang,the Mango Industry.A survey was conducted to learn about the current situation of the development of mango industry in Tian Yang County and analyze shortcomnings and deficiencies of modernized cultivation,deep processing production and trade and sales of Tian Yang's mango industry.It made a conclusion of prominent issues that restricted further development of the mango industry in Tian Yang County and proposed scientific strategies for the development of Tian Yang's mango industry.The project survey indicated that it has formed favorable shape of improved mango varieties,qualified and efficient production,sufficient and stable output along with the industry development.Therer'e increases in the growing area,production,output and sales of mango over the years.In 2015,mango production in Tian Yang respectively accounted for 86.9%of total fi-uit plant area,84.12%of total production area,81.90%of total fruit production and 91.85%of total fruit output of the whole county.As companies of mangos continued to grow,there're 6 leading mango companies,43 professional associations of mango in this county and 315 sales outlets being set up nation wide with 1 national agricultural(mango)pilot for sightseeing and tourism by 2015;online trade has gained essential development,reaching turnover of 3.63 million yuan throughout 2015.Through analysis,the mango industry in Tian Yang was converged by thousands of traditional retailers.As the retailers develop respectively and the industry grew further,there were some prominent issues such as lagging of normalized planting,slow commercialized development,rapid increase of production cost,non-apparent advantage on price,inadequate brand effect,insufficient ability of deep processing and single sales approach.Regarding specific issues that restricting further growth of mango industry in Tian Yang,it has proposed corresponding strategies for the development.First,advance the establishment of standard garden and take more measures to carry forward normalized,standardized and commercialized production and operation;secondly,enhance capital investment and support to companies,balance the development of industrial chain and establish a sound safety control system and traceability system of agricultural products in the county,to improve mango preservation and deep processing,and also facilitate the vertical expansion of the industry;thirdly,put up platforms for global exchange and cooperation,promote mango showcases and combine it with internet as increasing brand recognition;fourthly,broaden marketing channels via online and offline modes based on internet and eventually realize a circulatory model of Tian Yang mango industry that has standard production for fruit garden,high brand recognition,carefree sales channels,constantly increasing sales value and vertically and horizontally integrated development.
