Study On The Spatial Development Path Of Economic Development In Northwest China Under The Belt And Road Initiative

The spatial expansion of regional economic development is a way to realize the level of economic growth for the region under the common restriction of economic factors and spatial factors.The northwest region is an important area of the Belt and Road initiative.In the "the Belt and Road" strategy background,to achieve development space expand is of certain typicality.How to deal with the increasingly severe domestic and international competitive pressure and reverse the current situation of the "marginal" of economic space in the northwest will be a great realistic problem which must be solved in the northwestern provinces and autonomous regions with the unprecedented development opportunities through "the Belt and Road" strategy.First of all,the paper analyzes the spatial expansion mechanism of economic development through sorting out the interactive relationship between economic development and regional space,and points out that the spatial expansion of economic development is a process of the fusion of economic and spatial elements.It also is coupled uniform of channel construction of economic space,urban system optimization and industrial space expansion.Under the government's policy guide,to promote technology directed and high-end element agglomeration,to achieve industrial space expansion and integration of economic space is the key to the development of economic space in underdeveloped areas.Secondly,the paper starts from five aspects: geospatial space,ecological space,urban space,industrial space and economic spatial structure.Based on spatial gravity model,location quotient and industrial structure similarity coefficient etc,this paper comprehensively analyzes the current situation of economic development in northwest region.It is considered that,influenced by history,location,resource endowment and regional policy,the scale system of the northwest town is unreasonable,the type I or above large cities are scarce,the urban population and industry carrying capacity are insufficient.Due to geographical distance,channel density,urban development degree and other restrictions,the urban economic spatial links are weak,and the relationships appears rupture in the western section of Xinjiang and Hexi area,Gansu province.This paper analyzes the evolution process of industrial space,finds that the industrial development in the northwest region is driven by the advantages of energy resources,with the primary energy and mineral industry as the leading industry.At the same time,technology and talent elements are lack of investment seriously,also,it shows a vicious cycle trend with narrow industrial space.Resource advantages are not transformed into regional core competitive advantage,industrial development space is greatly limited.This paper also points out that there are structural contradictions in the economic development of the northwest,such as the uneven development of economic space and the low level of regional industry convergence.In addition,the northwest urban land is limited,the ecological environment is fragile,energy efficiency is low,etc.All these factors for the northwest economic development space bring some adverse effects.Thirdly,based on strategic opportunities with “the Belt and Road”,the paper clarifies the goal and emphasis of economic development in the northwest region through the analysis of the regional economic development spatial pattern changed trend in China.It is believed that the spatial expansion of the regional economic development in the northwest region needs to coordinate the interactive relationship between the northwest space and the foreign and domestic two external spaces,as well as the relationship among the provinces in the northwest region and the internal space between rural and urban areas,so as to promote space expansion through mutually beneficial cooperation,transform the resource endowment and location advantages into economic development space long-term competitive advantage,improve the status of the northwestern economic space nationwide and globally.Fourthly,this paper holds that the future spatial expansion of the Northwest region should be based on the northwest geospatial,ecological space and regional coordinated development requirement,perfect the construction of the modern space channel as the first,perfect the urban system,and maximize the spillover effect of Xi'an in the northwest economic development.In addition,the paper argues that he future spatial expansion of the Northwest region should focus on accelerating the growth of Lanzhou and Urumqi which are the regional central cities,cultivating the three cities as a growth pole of the three growth pole system,while cultivating urban agglomeration and economic axis so as to strengthen the regional economic spatial link.Aiming at reorganizing the regional industrial space competitiveness,the paper suggests to dock the global value chain and the international market,coordinate the five leading industries in the northwest development,build a difference and open characteristic industrial system and enhance regional spatial competitiveness.The paper summarizes the concept and mechanism of spatial expansion of regional economic development.At the same time,this paper closely combines
