Research On The Culture Elements Of In-depth Development Of Characteristic Towns

Tourism development of characteristic towns not only generate economic benefits as a form of resource, but also enable the town to exhibit the value of historical and archaeological findings, increase the value of artistic appreciation and scientific research, as well as to promote the protection and development of the town. However,it also triggers a series of problems that will eventually influence the healthy development of the Tourism Industry and ironically brings about damage to it as a resource.In order to balance the relationship between development and protection; to promote the sustainable development of the Tourism Industry,we should change the direction of the tourism development of characteristic town from quantitative tourism to be mutually beneficial, characteristically and qualitative oriented; to deeply explore the cultural connotation of the characteristic town, realize the in-depth development to completely reflect the unique characteristics and of the town.In this paper, taking the tourism development in the ancient town of Huangyao as an example, deeply analyzes the special tourism culture elements from geological environmental landscapes to material and immaterial tourism resources, then on the basis of the findings, evaluate the developmental values of the aforementioned tourism culture elements, in order to deeply excavate the cultural connotation and prominent the features of the characteristic town.On the basis of the above content, the paper further analyzes the current conditions of the tourism development of Huangyao ancient town and discusses the problems caused by the process which include: 1. The commercial operation has not been scaled.2. Shortage of systematic management and service. 3.Insufficient exploration of immaterial tourism culture elements.According to the analysis, find the root causes that hinder the sustainable development of ancient town tourism which will in turn, cause the exploitation of its resources as an end result. They include: 1. Unavailability of perfect policies and regulations on the ancient town tourism development. 2. Lack of an inaccurate positioning of the image theme of the ancient town. 3. Lack of manpower resources of the company supervising the tourism development.At last,synthesizing the above analysis, in accordance to the actual situation of the tourism development in the ancient town of Huangyao, by taking the "the tourism culture elements of a characteristic town" as a leading clue.Under the conduct of the Theory of Sustainable Development and the Symbiosis Theory, this paper presents the strategies and ways of in-depth tourism development of a characteristic ancient town.
