The level of urbanization is one of the important indicators to measure the economic and social development of a region,which is of great significance to the construction of a region.Reasonable and orderly urbanization can promote productivity,promote economic growth,exert the agglomeration effect of urban area,reduce the internal transaction cost and improve the efficiency of economic operation.The evolution of industrial structure is the basis of urbanization development.The process of urbanization is often accompanied by the development of industrialization.With the improvement of social productivity and the acceleration of production efficiency,production began to be centralized and large-scale.The dominant industry has gradually changed from the first industry to the second and the third industry.Urbanization of population triggered by the concentration of labor and other production factors to cities and towns.The research which is based on the perspective of the evolution of industrial structure on the dynamic mechanism of urbanization in China and other regions is beneficial to further understanding of the development pattern of industrial structure and urbanization in China and other regions.This paper is of great significance to optimize the dynamic system of urbanization,reduce the regional differences,and promote the coordinated development between regions and sustainable development in the region.The evolution of industrial structure and the process of urbanization is a process of economic development which interrelated and mutually promoted.However,it is complicated to estimate the influence of the change of industrial structure on the development of urbanization in different stages of development.In order to analyze the influence of the evolution of industrial structure on the development of Urbanization in China,a model which is based on the Chenery's theory is constructed in this paper with data from a sample of 31 provinces during the period of 2000 to2014.This dissertation is composed of five chapters.The first chapter summarizes the domestic and foreign literature on the interaction mechanism of industrial structureand urbanization,and expounds the practical significance of the research.The second chapter mainly describes the history and current situation of industrial structure and urbanization in china.This chapter provides data and cases for the third chapter of the model construction through the study of the evolution of industrial structure and urbanization in China.The third chapter and the forth chapter which is based on Chenery's theory constructs a model by using panel data.This model is used for quantitative analysis in studying the influence of the industrial structure on urbanization rate in the East,middle and west of China.Based on the results of the model of the third chapter and the fourth chapter,this paper analyzes the dynamic mechanism of urbanization in our country.Finally,the paper makes a summary and outlook in the fifth chapter.Based on the results of the third chapter and the fourth chapter,the fifth chapter points out problems of urbanization in china and expounds the methods of improving the development speed of urbanization and promotes the sustainable development of urbanization from the angle of optimizing the industrial structure.It is found that industrialization is the main reason to promote the development of China's Urbanization while the reason for each region is different.There are great differences in the level of economic development and industrialization in the East and west of China.Different regions are in different stages of the evolution of industrial structure.To promote the development of industrialization and urbanization,it is necessary to make a differential development strategy according to the actual situation of different regions.
