Study On Xinjiang's Urban-rural Dualistic Economic Structure

Xinjiang's economic structure shows a kind of typical traditional agricultural economy in the countryside and urban modern economy's coexistence of the phenomenon of urban and rural dual economic structure. City is mainly dominated by the industrial, manufacturing, modern service-oriented in the secondary and the tertiary industries, whose technology is relatively advanced, labor productivity is relatively high, wages are higher, while the vast rural areas are mainly based on traditional agriculture, presence of a large hidden unemployment, low productivity, low income.This paper based on the carding, summing up the results of domestic and abroad on urban-rural dual economic structure, combined with the actual situation of Xinjiang, to analysis its status, trends and characteristics in the development and evolution of urban-rural dual economic structure, followed by analysis the of causes Xinjiang's urban-rural dual economic structure, and pointed out that the current backwardness of the urban-rural dual economic structure has adverse effects on Xinjiang's economic and social development, and finally put forward countermeasures and suggestions to promte the distortions and behind Xinjiang's urban-rural dual economic structure to transfer to a high-level, modern, one united economy.
