An Analysis Of Residents' Household Energy Consumption And Its Influencing Factors

With the continuous development of the economy,energy consumption has been greatly consumed,and the energy supply situation has become increasingly tense.The contradiction between supply and demand of energy has become the focus of social attention.As an important component of energy consumption,household enemy consumption is directly related to the lifestyle of local residents.If we understanding the interaction among household energy consumption factors,It will contribute to the country's energy planning.And also to the promoting of the coordinated and sustainable development among energy system,economic system and environment system.Although scholars have done many research in this field,few concentrated on the urban and rural,in particular on the quantitative research.In order to promote the resident's energy conservation more effectively and directly,a reasonable structure of energy consumption for daily life should be constructed.This paper is based on the domestic and foreign research,through literature review and data collection,analysis the six provinces in Central China(Shanxi,Henan,Anhui,Hubei,Hunan,Jiangxi)2005-2014 years of household energy consumption.The main works include: First,Carries on the elaboration to the related theory,analysis on theoretical influence factors.second,analysis and descripted the basic situation of energy consumption of six provinces in Central China,and compared with the basic situation urban and rural,and then construct a panel data model,choose the per capita energy consumption as the dependent variable,the per capita disposable the proportion of income,electric energy,energy prices,education expenditure,per capita living space,the number of home appliances,city rate,family size and household car ownership of 9 indicators,through the measurement method of the least squares method to analyze urban and rural factors impact on the dependent variable,thus draw the corresponding conclusion,finally according to the conclusion and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.This study found that: the residential energy consumption per year in six provinces are increasing,and the consumption structure has undergone great changes,is no longer a traditional coal based energy consumption,but the formation of coal,electricity and oil based consumption patterns,but in rural areas is still a greatproportion of coal.In the influence factors,whether in the city or the countryside,the income of household energy consumption effects of six central provinces residents are the most significant,significant factors in urban and rural areas and the common power ratio,number of cars and household appliances,household size,so according to the research results and put forward corresponding countermeasures,which requires the government and residents' participation,the specific measures are: in the correct policies,increase the new energy development,promotion and utilization;starting from the propaganda,the residents awareness of energy conservation promotion;price regulation and adjustment of energy consumption structure;according to local conditions,play in six provinces of central region's resources.
