| With the rapid improvement of market economy system,the market competition between enterprises is getting bigger and bigger.To achieve long-term survival and development in the fierce competition,enterprises have to formulate scientific sustainable development strategy.It is also necessary to cultivate a group of excellent and talents management team and a stable management training system.The biggest competition among enterprises in the future is the professional talents.What we call about the professional talents are mainly refers to the managers in the enterprises’ greatest impact on the business is undoubtedly the management,they hold the enterprise’s each department.Based on the current research on management in the academic and business research circle,top managers are still the main object of research,but the importance of middle manager has been ignored all along.Middle managers’ strategic position and role has not fully understood.At present,many companies are facing with many problems in strategic development and management,although they have recognized the key to solve those hard troubles is in management,but they hardly gather all the eyes on the top managers.Middle managers are as important as senior managers.The middle occupies most of the management positions.At present,middle managers still have problems such as large wastage rate.Compared to foreign countries,domestic research in the middle managers is still in its infancy,the study of middle managers will be a trend in the future.In the existing middle-level research is about the middle managers’ role,competency,execution,motivation and crisis.This study first obtains the different size enterprises’ requirements in the middle managers about the background and management experience.The larger the size of the company,the higher the level of management in the background and management experience required.On the overall distribution of Middle Mangers’ 17 personal character skills,small size companies and middle level companies almost have no difference on the distribution,so do middle-level companies and large size companies.However,there is a large significant difference between small and large size companies on overall personal character skills.From the single skill requirement analysis research,the ability of the medium and small enterprises in the middle managers to communicate coordination and coordination,professional theoretical knowledge,familiar with the work process,team leadership,learning ability and cohesion ability requirements are almost the same.As to the dedication,Thinking,execution and insight and other skills,the greater the type of company,its higher requirements.Based on the relevant theories of middle-level manager,this study gave a great deal of attention to the skill requirements of middle managers.Through analyzing middle managers’ sample data,strict screen from the two Chinese Recruitment platforms,this study carried out an in-depth elaboration about the role of middle managers,and discussed the differences between different types of enterprises in middle managers’ skill requirements from three aspects: management experience,educational background and personal characteristics.Finally,a skill model was built to summarize the work this study had done,and the study will be of value to the academic research and selecting professional middle managers for enterprises. |
