In this paper the author studied the Competency Model based on theexisting research results posted by researchers at home and abroad, itconfirmed to the importance of human resource management and proved urgentand necessary to implement.Through in-depth analysis of the existing problems the enterpriseencountered during management process and full understanding of currentsituation and future of the industry. This study discussed the CompetencyModel of middle managers of Z company, with the method of behavior eventinterview, questionnaire investigation, literature analysis andstatistical analysis. It firstly extracted competency indicators withcoding techniques, then extended questionnaires to middle managers inaccordance with the result of BEI, after results were analyzed, theCompetency Model was put forward, the result indicates that, the vicepresident of sales and minister of market are close. The study also dida research on application of recruitment and selection.On the basis of the investigation, the study shows a Competency Modelwith Four dimensions,30index, also comes up with a competence characterdictionary with Specific description of behavior. It also designed apractical recruitment selection process with application of the radarchart.
