Study On The Influences Of China And Central Asian Countries On Energy And Mineral Trade

Energy and mineral resources have been the focus of global attention.In the twenty-first Century,with the rapid development of the global economy,the demand for energy and mineral resources has gradually increased,making the original energy and mineral problems more prominent.Central Asian countries are rich in energy and mineral resources,and also has an important strategic position.the Central Asian countries is set to become a top priority for china,and in 2013,President Xi proposed the idea of building Silk Road Economic Belt,Central Asian countries as the idea of countries along,so it is particularly important to study on the areas of energy and mineral resources trade in-depth.In this paper,we must first understand China and Central Asian countries basic situation in the field of energy and mineral resources,including both resources,supply and trade situation.there is a clear bilateral trade cooperation foundation,current situation and problem of the trade,and the gap between supply and demand of energy and mineral resources in China,the foreign dependency,import source of risk,the Central Asian countries is the country of choice for diversified development.Then on the basis of this,the paper analysis the factors that affect the trade between the two sides,divided into two parts: economic factors and non-economic factors.Secondly,on the basis of qualitative analysis,this paper uses the panel data of China and the Central Asian countries to carry on the regression analysis of the energy and mineral trade in 1995-2014,through the 3 revision of the model,the paper obtain the final gravity model.The results show that the economic factors of demand is a decisive factor in trade between the two sides,factors of production capacity of a country's resources are important,infrastructure construction and economic cooperation obviously effect of ore trade promotion,and the amount of distance hinder greatly,whether for SCO members is not the decisive influence.Finally,according to the results of qualitative and quantitative analysis,this paper puts forward the corresponding policies to deepen the economic and trade cooperation between China and Central Asian countries.
