Research On The Measurement And Influence Of Trade Facilitation Between China And Central Asian Countries

In recent years,with the trend of economic globalization and trade liberalization intensifying,The traditional tariff barriers to trade have been slashed,trading partners pursuing trade interests through tariff measures has displayed great limitations.At the same time,the quality of a country's transportation facilities,customs clearance efficiency,policy rules and regulations and modern communication technology has become a potential trade influence factors of restricting the cost of the import and export enterprises and the efficiency of international trade,cause the attention of various international organizations and governments.Under the background of “the Silk Road Economic Belt” initiative,measuring the level of trade facilitation of China and Central Asian countries and researching China-Central Asian countries trade facilitation's effect are not only the desirability to open outside under the new situation of international trade,but also the necessary way to construct “the Silk Road Economic Belt” for China.This paper,first of all,summarizes the existing relevant research results and theory analysis,to lay the theoretical basis of this paper;then analyzes the current situation of the development of trade relations between China and Central Asian countries;on that basis,constructs the trade facilitation evaluation index system,using principal component analysis method to determine the index weight,measuring the scores ofChina and central Asian countries' trade facilitation composite and transport infrastructure,customs environment,government regulation,electronic commerce;further using the trade gravity model to analyze the effect of trade facilitation on trade flows between China and Central Asian countries;finally puts forward the countermeasures to promote the development of China and Central Asian countries' trade facilitation.Through research,this thesis draws the following conclusions: in the respect of trade facilitation composite score rankings between China and central Asian countries,China topped the list,followed successively by kazakhstan,tajikistan,kyrgyzstan;the level of trade facilitation of Central Asia countries and the GDP of trading partners have a positive influence on the bilateral trade volume;the geographic distance between the two countries has a negative effect on bilateral trade volume;as for the four specific areas of trade facilitation,the transport infrastructure of Central Asian countries has a positive influence on the bilateral trade volume;the customs environment of the Central Asian countries has a negative effect on bilateral trade flows;the level of e-commerce in China has a positive influence on the bilateral trade flows.
