A Research On Farmers' Income In Township Gucheng,County Qitai

In the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the Eighteenth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China,our country will vigorously promote agricultural modernization,improve agricultural efficiency,ensure the safety of agricultural products and realize the coordinated development of resources,environment and agriculture through shifting its focus of agricultural products from quantity,production to quality,efficiency,and ecology,making a safe transformation and taking the road of agricultural modernization.The meeting also put forward a new goal: to build a moderately prosperous society by the end of “Thirtieth Five Year Plan”,and to witness the per capita GDP of urban and rural residents double in 2010.As a western agricultural province,Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region is in a transitional period when its traditional agriculture needs to be modified and the modern agriculture to be impelled.With the reality that Xinjiang's large population of farmers accounting for more than half of the total population,the per capita net income of farmers is below the national average.Therefore,it is of great significance to the realization of Xinjiang and the national “Thirtieth Five Year Plan” and to improve the living standard of Xinjiang farmers and to make up for the short board in the comprehensive construction of a well-off society in Xinjiang,which is closely related to the long-term stability and the rapid development of rural area.This paper mainly adopts the methods of Literature search,quantitative research,questionnaire survey and the regression model of principal component analysis to analyze the income level of farmers in township Gucheng,Qitai County,Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture,Xinjiang.The purpose is: based on the survey data basis of farmers income level in township Gucheng to explore the factors that affect the income of the township farmers,and combined with the actual situation of the township,to explore the measures to help raise income of farmers in township Gucheng.This paper argues that we should mainly focus on increasing in agricultural investment,adjusting the internal structure of agriculture,increasing human capital investment,strengthening the role of science and technology support to achievefarmers continue to increase income in township Gucheng.
