Based On The Perspective Social Capital To Study The Inconme’s Increasing Problems Of Farmers In Chongqing

Since Chongqing has been set as a Municipality, it’s economy has been developing rapidly. Meanwhile, people’s living standard also has been improved significantly. However, However, due to Chongqing’s unique multi center and organized city structure, it combines the characteristic of large city and large rural areas. The rural population of Chongqing is almost half of the total population. Therefore, it is an important measure to reduce the income gap between urban and rural areas and improve the income level of the farmers in poor areas, and it is an important measure to realize the goals of the reform of urban and rural areas in Chongqing.The Social capital as a cross discipline concept were used to analyze the increasingly complex social and economic phenomenon. Applied the social capital to the problem of farmers’ income by scholars is becoming a new perspective. Many scholars also found that social capital contribute to increasing farmers’ income. This paper bases on the questionnaire of western region rural social capital and income survey which includes the data about Chongqing rural social capital, take the peasant family social capital and the village social capital as the object, try to from the network, reciprocity, trust, participation, cultivate and regulate the six aspects to measure the rural social capital. First of all, this paper uses principal component analysis method to analys the characteristics of social capital in rural area. Secondly, this paper multiple linear regression analysis method to study the influence of the social capital to farmers’ salary income, family business income, property income and transfer income influence. In addition, this paper analyses the influencing factors of social capital and each index. Finally, based on the above conclusions, this paper put forward the countermeasures of increasing farmers’ income.The results show that the social capital of Chongqing rural areas is still at a low level. The empirical analysis shows that social capital has a significant effect on the income of the families of farmers. Among them, the cultivation degree of the social capital, network scale, net top and norm degree indices play an important role in the social capital. Its main factors of the social capital are the education level, Whether the family has served as a cadre, the migrant workers’ number and its nationality, etc. Based on the above results, the farmers should pay more attention to education, change their ideas and cultivate their social capital. At the same time, the government should actively to play a guiding role, increasing investment in education and rural infrastructure construction, take measures to develop local economy and the rural financial, In order to create more opportunities to increasing farmer’s income.
