Since the reform and opening up,China's rural economic development in multi-ethnic areas(Inner Mongolia;Guangxi;Tibet;Ningxia;Sinkiang)has achieved remarkable achievements, and farmers' income level has been greatly improved. The report of the 18 th CPC National Congres pointed out that the goal of completing the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects should be achieved in2020.In view of China's current national conditions,multi-ethnic areas as the underdeveloped provinces in western China, the income problem of farmers has become an important issue that restricts the regional and national standards to achieve well-off standards. Therefore, how to develop the rural economy in the multi-ethnic areas, how to improve the income level of peasants is of great theoretical and practical significance to solve the problem of "agriculture, rural areas and farmers" in multi-ethnic areas and to realize the well-off society by 2020.This article will analyse rural income in multi-ethnic areas from the following aspects:Firstly, through the analysis of the rural income in multi-ethnic areas from1980 to 2015,and compare them with the national average and the standards of well-off income to find out the gap.The situation analysis shows that the income level of peasants in multi-ethnic areas is still lower than the national average level, and there are still some multi-ethnic areas have not yet reached the standard of well-off income.Secondly, through the discussion of the indicators related to the income of farmers and through the panel data model for empirical analysis. The empirical results show that: per capita GDP,urbanization rate and other six indicators of multi-ethnic areas of farmers per capita net income has a positive impact.Per capita crop acreage, the amount of fertilizer applied per unit area and other three indicators have a negative impact on multi-ethnic areas. Finally, according to the different factors of the various regions of the impact,This article proposes a revenue path from the economic development, urbanization employment, education, financial expenditure and other aspects. This paper puts forward the corresponding safeguard measures for each path.
