| A metropolitan area with excellent structure integrates the various elements of production within the metropolitan area in the most effective way,and maximizes the efficiency of each city in division of labor,cooperation and communication;metropolitan area grows into the core of economic development in a larger region,growth pole and strategic support point.Urumqi metropolitan area is the key part of Eurasian Continental Bridge,the Belt and Road Initiative and economic belt in North Slope of Tianshan Mountains.This paper aims to provide theoretical basis for the construction of an orderly and reasonable regional economic development pattern in urumqi metropolitan area.This paper uses the entropy method,Markoff chain,gravity model,fractal model and ROXY index method,selects 2002,2006,2010,2015,four time sections,makes a comprehensive analysis of the hierarchical structure,the evolution process and the development situation of the economic spatial structure about the metropolitan area in Urumqi and the spatial development situation of the three major industries in this metropolitan area.The main conclusions are as follows:1.The hierarchical structure:(1)In 2002-2015,,the metropolitan area had the obvious hierarchical structure.As the core city of the metropolitan area,Urumqi had significant urban polarization characteristics.(2)In 2002-2015,the gap between high level and higher level was widening,the gap between middle level and low level was widening,the gap between middle level and higher level showed a narrowing trend.(3)In 2002-2015,the level of economic development showed a trend of convergence among the medium level and middle level types.(4)In the 2002-2015 years,the upward transfer of grade type areas mainly focused on the surrounding areas of Urumqi and the eastern three counties,and the downward transfer areas were mainly concentrated in the Turpan region.2.in the aspect of spatial structure:(1)in 2002-2015,the Urumqi metropolitan area formed a single core structure with Urumqi as the core,showing obvious center-periphery characteristics,forming a clear circle structure.(2)In 2002-2015,the membership degree in the counties(cities)which were in west and south of Urumqi showed a downward trend in general,the counties(cities)which were in east of Urumqi economic subordination wereon the rise.(3)In 2002-2015,the economic ties between counties(cities)were becoming closer,it showed the trend of development from polar radiation to axis,the metropolitan area showed obvious axis structure development trend,forming the West,East and South axes respectively,and the secondary centers of Shihezi,Qitai and Turpan gradually formed.The economic ties between the counties(cities)in the west and the core cities were very high,its internal economic ties were close and the agglomeration effects were good,the economic ties between the counties(cities)in the southeast and the core cities were weak,internal economic ties between counties(cities)were weak.(4)In 2002-2015,the economic contact between Urumqi and other counties(cities)showed significant polarized characteristics,but this trend became to restrain in 2010-2015 years;the economic ties total of the various metropolitan counties(city)showed the characteristics of the same fractal.3.(1)the spatial development of the primary industry in Urumqi metropolitan area showed a trend: constant polarization,deceleration,polarization and acceleration,but restrained on the whole in the three periods of this study.The second industry presented a constant polarization-accelerating convergence-accelerating,but the development trend also restrained on the whole.The third industry showed a trend of constant convergence-deceleration,convergence and acceleration of polarization.(2)The spatial development of the second and the third industry in Urumqi metropolitan area had the biggest impact on its economic spatial structure.The second industry was the main radiation industry,and the third industry was the main polarization industry. |
