In the past decades,the social segmentation became more and more sophisticated.The enterprises complete and obtain the advantages with their supply chain network rather than its own power.While OEM releases the enterprises from manufacturing by themselves and allows them focus on their core competences to gain advantages.This has great support to the development of the furnishing industry.The thrive of hotels business,urbanization and increase of high net worth individuals urge the changes of people’s perception on furniture,which was treated as facilities in the past while a way to reflect life attitude at present.It also makes a bigger cake for the high-end furniture market but also attract more competitors.The enterprises are struggling to satisfy the market while lower the cost.A scientific and operational suppliers’ administrative system is the critical element at this point to win the competition.By studying the case of B Company,this paper tries to exhibit the common problems of OEM suppliers’ selection and evaluation in furnishing industry,respectively the rigid process,narrow standard range,subjective evaluation system and cost-oriented cooperation relation.The reasons,which are the uneven allocation of the purchasing amount and the cost-oriented policy,are dig out and solutions are given to the problems.Among the solutions,the selection and evaluation system is established through AHP model integrated with the Dephi method.The problems of suppliers’ selection and evaluation in B Company widely exist in other companies in furnishing industry.This paper is dedicated to provide the train of thought to the similar enterprises to help them to establish their administrative system.
