Sources of competitive advantage are firm characteristics that allow setting up in a better position than its competitors.Based on 5 Force Model it is usual to consider these sources as internal and external factors of business.Entrepreneur organizes core competences combining these factors.They get competitive advantages when firm gets better performance than the competition.The process to obtain better performance from core competences isn't well known.Therefore,the study points out the problems which Small-Medium size companies are facing in account of core competency in the industry;and then the research will provide with the strategies that could be useful in getting core competitiveness which could be apply to all kind of SMEs who are working in this industry especially inside China and Pakistan.Along with Porter's 5 Forces model,a case study of Hussaini Enterprises and result analysis it will be helpful for all those SMEs who are working in B&R and CPEC environment to sustain or get core competitiveness.Furthermore the study results will also assist the management of the Hussaini Enterprises to improve the performances and maintain core competitiveness.Information was obtained from different mean to provide best and qualitative results.This research will provide with the current Small-Medium size companies problems which they are facing in China and Pakistan and strategies how to come over those problems.We determine which is the process of influence of core competencies on business performance.Findings indicate a causal process in generating business performance.Only innovativeness affect to performance.But better innovativeness is achieved combining from human and technological resources.However,it is recommended that the Small-Medium Enterprises can sustain or get competency by different ways,for instance through innovation,teamwork,avail good opportunities on right time and etc.The study includes a real Small-Medium Enterprises which is active inside China and Pakistan called Hussaini Enterprise's case study in account is to obtain a reliable and valid result.
