Nowadays, with the rapid development of computer industry, software has already gone deeply into daily life, which has brought great convince to people's life. However, in some manufacturing industry field, it is still a lot potential for involving software system into its production management and quality management. Especially for the production field of auto-parts, due to its large production character and high precision character, it has become a general requirement if there are systems which can help factory to implement management. The software will help managements to summary and analyses production and quality data, and help operator to submit production data speedily. It is called custom software which are becoming more and more popular in software project. Case in this paper is a classic project of this kind. Software vendor met several difficulties during the implementation of the project, most of them attribute to requirement management, which raise a series of thinking and analyzing on custom software of professional business field.Requirement analysis phase is an acknowledged important phase in software development life cycle. Requirement management is the mainly task in this phase, it is so important that will influence the result of other phase, even the success or failure of project. Work efficiency will be improved with excellent requirement management, and it will also provide accuracy foundation for system design and development phase. It will minimize the times of confirmation with customer, improve the software project quality and also save cost.During the case study and analyzing, I begin on communication mode and then requirement understanding and basis data management. Considering the situation of customer and software vendor, in order to improve their strengths and abilities to avoid shortage and risk, a set of solutions is made. It is a simple and convenient solution which can improve the communication mode with supply and requisitioning, also solve difficulties of the project one by one. On the other hand, universalities, defects and development direction of the solution are considered in this paper. It is hoped that analyses and solution in this paper can help the software development of manufacturing industry, especially for auto parts manufacturing.
