The Study On Requirement Management Of BSRS Software Project Of Liaoning Construction Bank

BSRS (Business Seal Registration System) project, is a software project developed by Liaoning Branch of China Construction Bank. This project mainly functions for rationalizing the seal management process and supervising the use of the seal. BSRS project developers for the first time tried to implement the requirement management theories and methods into the software project. BSRS can ensure the quality of requirements, inhibit excessive spread of project needs, and improve the satisfaction of product users.On the foundation of referring large quantity of requirement management books and mastering definite requirement management methodology, combining the characteristics about BSRS project and the present conditions of project requirement management of Liaoning Construction Bank, this thesis studied the application of requirement development and requirement management, found suitable requirement management processes and operational technical steps for the BSRS project, evaluated and summarized the practical application impact.First, carrying through the background study of BSRS project, analyzing the characteristics of the BSRS project requirement management and reasoning that it is essential to the project being managed applying requirement management methods. Then this thesis did an extensive research on the application of requirement management in stages, which include requirement acquirement, requirement analysis, requirement validation, requirement review, Managing Changes to Requirements, version management and requirement tracing. This thesis also developed application strategy and summarized the practical application of the function for each stage.Liaoning Construction Bank internal software project development model is different from the general software project. Therefore, the characteristics of the project for the branch level software to identify suitable software requirements management method is very meaningful. This main purpose of thesis is through the successful application of the theory of requirement management in BSRS project, it can be also spread to other projects. Additionally, the successful experience can enhance the ability of software development in Liaoning Construction bank, thereby enhance the CCB overall level of management and operational capacity, improve regional competitiveness.
