Research On Material Management Oriented Engineering Change For M Low-speed Diesel Company

Currently,the world's shipbuilding industry including low-speed marine diesels is speeding up transfer to Asia region for labor intensive capitalized and strong industrial base.China's shipbuilding industry is forming a strong challenge on Japan and South Korea's leading position.But China is at disadvantage in terms of production and operation efficiency and material management.The reason is the Chinese factories are greatly affected by the engineering change besides lack of supporting industries.This thesis takes M company as an example to analyze the effects caused by engineering change and create the strategies systematically.The research is based on a large number of domestic and foreign research literature about low-speed diesel and discrete manufacturing industry.The present situation of material management and adverse effects of engineering changes on materials is well investigated and summarized.This thesis systematically analyzes the causes utilizing qualitative analysis through business functions processes and information flow and create four strategy model and eleven specific strategies.To ensure correctness and feasibility of the concrete policy,by comparing the strategy and influence elements of correlation,based on the system theory and using the method of expert meeting on strategy and evaluate the conformity between the target and strategy,to determine the specific strategy is consistent and feasible,is accord with the actual situation of enterprises.In the end,this thesis emphasizes the importance of insurance actions.The analytical framework of top management plays a decisive role on implement management system especially on systematic improvement.Besides,management tools and the protection of organization and regulations are the necessary conditions for management improvement and strategy implementation.This thesis emphatically research the theory of material management in the model of multi-product and small batch manufacturing which will expand material management theory system.The research results put forward the management method and strategy system of materials of low-speed diesel engine enterprise and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises in practice and application,at the same time there has exemplary and referenced function to the whole low-speed diesel industry even discrete mechanical equipment enterprises.
