The Moderating Effect Of Environmental Uncertainty On The Relationship Between Supply Chain Integration And Enterprise Performance

Since the 1990 s,with the continuous development of economic globalization,the diversification of consumer demand,the progress of information technology,the intensification of enterprise competition and the increasing uncertainty of market changes,Having a high market share and a good business performance in the highly competitive market is no longer that the enterprise itself can complete,and it need integrate upstream enterprise,downstream enterprise and interior of itself.Only if the Companies,suppliers and customers establish a close relationship of cooperation,a win-win situation can be achieved.The purpose of this paper is to study the effect of enterprise supply chain integration on its performance,and to make the realistic situation of environmental uncertainty as the adjustment variable of research,which can increase the practical validity of the research.Based on the literature research,this paper divides the supply chain integration into three dimensions: internal integration,supplier integration and customer integration.They basically cover the direction of enterprise supply chain integration.And this paper study the enterprise performance from two aspects: financial performance and innovation performance,which are representatives of short-term performance and long-term performance.This paper has collected a total of 209 domestic Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share manufacturing listed companies' sample data in 2013-2015.SPSS 19.0 statistical software is used to make factor analysis of internal integration indicators and carry out the correlation analysis between the main variables of this paper and descriptive analysis.Panel data regression analysis and robustness test were carried out using Eviews8.0 statistical software.The empirical results show that internal integration,supplier integration and customer integration are significantly positively correlated with financial performance.There is a significant positive correlation between internal integration and innovation performance,but supplier integration integration are significantly negatively correlated with firm innovation performance and the correlation between customer integration and innovation is not significant.Environmental uncertainty has a positive effect on the relationship between internal integration as well as supplier integration and corporate innovation performance,and the relationship between customer integration and enterprise innovation is not significant.The effect of environmental uncertainty on the relationship between supply chain integration and corporate financial performance is not significant.We suggest that the actual operation of enterprises should be based on the actual situationto balance the direction and extent of supply chain integration,which should focus on internal integration and customer integration,appropriately make supplier integration.And when the enterprise is in a high uncertainty environment,it can appropriately improve the degree of integration of suppliers.Finally,the paper analyzes the limitations of index quantification and research depth,and puts forward the corresponding prospect.
