Nowadays,global sourcing activities not only belong to big companies,more and more middle and small sized enterprises had been involving as well.Different locations and cultures between buyers and vendors,currency policies and more other factors make the whole process of global sourcing complicated.So,an effective vendor evaluate system means a lot.How to select and evaluate vendor under global purchasing environment is the main topic for this paper.Introduce theories about vendor selection and evaluation under global sourcing environment,as well as improving suggestions for the issues which had been existing in the mentioned process for company F.Take the features for wood furniture items which company F purchases globally under thinking,put vendor’s reaction ability for market’s changes into the index list.Work out multi-index vendor selection and evaluation system with the thesis of AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)for company F.Then,put the new vendor selection and evaluation system into practice for wood file cabinets which company F purchases globally.It is concluded that the new system is preferable to select vendors compare with the old system.
