With the development of society,the competition between enterprises is getting bigger and bigger,the importance of team is slso growing.While the leadership of different leadership style will have a different impact on the team members and the team's overall ability.The staff task performance has a certain degree of dependence on team leadership style.In academia,the relationship between leadership style and performance has been studied by many scholars in theory,and also researched by many scholars using qualitative method.This research will probe into the relationship among empowering leadership,responsibilities and task performance,conducted on the basis of predecessors' studies,taking staff from private enterprises in Guangdong area as examples,and using empirical study and quantitative method.This research uses mature questionnaire forms worked out by predecessors,including empowering leadership questionnaire,the sense of responsibility questionnaire and task performance questionnaire.The questionnaire forms were sent to nearly 400 working people from different cities,different types of enterprises,and different teams in Guangdong area.Data was obtained from the strictly screened questionnaire forms,and analyzed scientifically by using IBM SPSS 22 professional software.The analyses include data statistical analysis,factor analysis,reliability analysis,linear regression analysis,etc.Through the empirical study,it is found that there's a significant positive correlation between empowering leadership and team members' sense of responsibility,a significant positive correlation between team members' sense of responsibility and task performance,a significant positive correlation between empowering leadership and task performance,and the sense of responsibility plays a role of intermediary between the relationship of empowering leadership and task performance.The results of this research have certain enlightenment for enterprise managers,team managers and other leaders in the development and training of team members,helping the team members to play their abilities and potential better so as to get better individual task performance,and finally achieve enterprise development.
