Research On The Selection Of Strategic Emerging Industries In Jiangsu Province

Strategic emerging industries based on major technological breakthroughs and major development needs,the overall economic and social development and long-term development has a leading role in leading,knowledge-intensive technology,less material resources,growth potential,and comprehensive beneficial industries."13th Five-Year Plan" in the strategic planning of emerging industries show that the strategic selection of emerging industries is not static,the state will be based on the development of the industry,re-select the focus of the development of strategic emerging industries.Jiangsu Province,as the highest level of comprehensive development of our province,in accordance with the requirements of the State Council,has been vigorously develop strategic emerging industries.Jiangsu Province selected the top ten strategic emerging industries focus on the development.The top ten industries include a number of specific industries,which correspond to the classification of the national economy(three-digit code)and sub-category entries(four-digit code).In the process of developing these industries in Jiangsu Province,has made remarkable achievements,but there have been some problems,such as duplication of serious construction,part of the selected industry,its development has failed to achieve the desired objectives.Therefore,Jiangsu Province,according to their development needs,to make a certain choice.Therefore,this paper chooses 31 medium-level entries(three-digit)industries that are classified with the top ten strategic emerging industries,establish the selection index system,and use factor analysis to select these industries.The development of better industries as a key support for the strategic emerging industries.In this paper,the connotation and characteristics of strategic emerging industries,the selection of industries and other related literatures sorted out.Secondly,the strategic emerging industries of Jiangsu Province established by using comparative advantage theory,industry relevance theory,leading industry theory,two benchmark theories and diamond model theory and then select the index system.Again,according to the index system,find the relevant data,the use of factor analysis,industry to evaluate the final selection of the top industry as new strategic emerging industries.In this paper,factor analysis,"transmission and distribution and control equipment manufacturing","power production","electronic device manufacturing","computer manufacturing","electronic components manufacturing","synthetic materials","vehicle Manufacturing "," motor manufacturing "," medical equipment and equipment manufacturing "," biological drug manufacturing " 10 industries as a strategic emerging industries in Jiangsu Province.Finally,according to the re-selection of strategic emerging industries,this paper puts forward some suggestions from the government,the enterprises themselves and other industries.The government should play a macro-control role,from the industrial selection,policy support and industrial data record three aspects to promote industrial development.Enterprises should improve their own development capacity,produce marketable products,and improve scientific and technological innovation.Other industries such as the banking industry should funded to promote the strategic emerging industries in Jiangsu Province to better develop.
