Research On The Clustering Development Of Jiangyin' IC Industry Based On The Local Buzz And Global Pipeline

As a kind of spatial organization mode connecting the global economy and regional economy,industrial cluster has been widely used in the research of local economy.Study on the dynamic evolution of industrial clusters are mainly concentrated in two aspects.Some scholars starting from the local embedding trait of industry cluster,and pay attention to the role of local factors in industrial clusters' development and evolution.While some other scholars in view of the perspective of global production network to study the influence of multinational companies and cross-regional technology networks on the evolution of industrial clusters.But the actual development and evolution of industrial cluster takes place in the interaction of regional economy and the global industrial network,and the study can't really reveal the mechanism and driving force of industrial clusters' dynamic evolution if we analyze the evolution of local industrial clusters just from the local perspective or global perspective.This article based on the perspective of local buzz-global pipeline and take the theory of the new economic geography and evolutionary economic geography as theoretical foundation,with the focus on the effects of innovation factors like knowledge and technology in the development of industrial cluster.Beside,this article establishes the analysis model of industrial clusters' evolution and explores the roles of the mechanisms and the effects with endogenous factors and exogenous factors to Jiangyin City's integrated circuit industry during the different stages,and illuminates the main driving force's changes of local integrated circuit industry cluster.The results show that different actions and effects of local buzz and global pipeline to Jiangyin City's IC industry cluster in different stages of its development.In the early stage of the Jiangyin City's IC industry cluster's development,its development mainly benefited from local buzz and endogenous factors,and the external pipeline have not really obvious promotion to the local industrial cluster.During the rapid development stage of Jiangyin City's integrated circuit industry cluster,the core enterprises play an non-substitutability role and promotion of local buzz to cluster continuously strengthened,while the effect of the external pipeline on cluster's development is increasing and the way of action is enriching.But in the mature stage of the cluster,the function of the local buzz and industrial environment is relatively decreased,while the external factors such as the global pipeline and international cooperation prominent.On the whole,the main driving factors of Jiangyin cities' integrated circuit industry cluster are gradually transform from the local buzz to the external pipeline,and the industry cluster presents a trajectory that evolved from mainly rely on endogenous factors early to exogenous factors.
