A Village's Procession Of Compressed Urbanization

In the process of urban development and expansion,suburbs naturally become the extension of the city,many unreasonable and dysfunctional rural areas need to be demolished according to the city's construction plan.In order to better develop the urbanization and the planning of urban space,the government expropriated the land and houses of suburban farmers,dismantled the villages where the peasants lived for generations,and the landless peasants forced to move away from their villages and moved to the new community.In the process of rapid expansion,one after another rural areas were levied by the government,these farmers lost the survival of the land in the city modernize construction process,as well as their own peasant identity,and they were forced to become the part of the citizen in the process of urbanization.However,the citizenization of the peasants cannot be done easily through the implementation of the simple "land replacement guarantee" policy,nor can the one-sided definition of "the end of the peasants" be defined in terms of household and occupation conversion.The latest data show that in 2014 China's urban construction land of 35 million hectares,about 5.25 million mu,the same year,China has about 112 million landless farmers,it is expected to add more than 200 million landless peasants each year,and these people have lost land will face the problem of career transformation.These works selected landless peasants from Gou Zhao village in Zhengzhou High-tech Development Zone of Henan Province as interviewee,select this area villagers as interviewee because of its representative,the past 5 years,Zhengzhou City totally removed 627 villages,moving 1,756,500 people,there are nearly a million people waiting to be relocated,they are temporarily lived in various parts of the city.The works through the writing technique of in-depth report to show the procession of compressed urbanization of Zhengzhou City,Henan Province,the interview materials organized into the in-depth report,strive to show the various problems that the farmers face after losing their land,and focus on their adaptation and integration of urban life from all levels.
