Research On Business Model Innovation Of Port Logistics Enterprise

In recent years,the national economy is gradually recovering from the impact of the financial crisis,but the growth rate of trade is very slow,Therefore,the competition between port logistics enterprises is intensified There are many factors that promote the port logistics enterprises to carry out business model innovation,including the emergence of new technologies,changes in customer demand and competitive pressures continue to increase the pressure of competition and the growing pressure of political and legal policies.Accordingly,it is imperative to explore the innovation of business model of port logistics enterprises.The present research find that business model innovation is the main way for enterprises to upgrade and obtain sustainable profits through combing the predecessors of the study.However,the existing research failed to fully demonstrate the process.Especially for the port logistics enterprises,how to innovate business model is a question that enterprises need to consider further.This paper explores how to carry out the business model innovation of port logistics enterprises,and what are the core resources and core activities through the case study.This study chooses Dalian Port Group as a representative enterprise of port logistics enterprises to implement business model innovation.Through the exploratory case study,this paper analyzes and discovers the business model innovation process of port logistics enterprises by using research interviews,questionnaires and second-hand data collection and collation.Through the integration of business model research and strategic management theory,this paper deconstructs the innovation activities of port logistics enterprise business model from the core activities,core resources and auxiliary activities.Meanwhile,this research explains the core activities of business model innovation from the perspective of value innovation as value creation,value transfer and value realization process.The following conclusions are obtained in this research.(1)Port business model innovation activities can be divided from three aspects: core activities,core resources and auxiliary activities.Core activities include the formation of business,logistics,capital flow and information flow and other resources.Core activities are carried out around value innovation,which are value creation,value transfer and value realization(2)In the process of strategic adjustment,market positioning adjustment and value added service,the value creation of port logistics enterprises should take customer demand as the center,and enterprise logistics service as the core resource Ultimately through business adjustments,port logistics enterprises can provide services to meet customer needs;(3)Based on supply chain and with Integration of resources as the core,the value transfer of port logistics enterprise builds the user platform through the adjustment of organizational structure and the process of resource integration to form an online service channel,and forms offline service system through port enterprise service station,ultimately forming a comprehensive coverage of online and offline value delivery channel network.(4)The realization of the value of port logistics enterprises should be based on cost control and with the expansion of income sources as the core.And the realization of the value of port logistics enterprises reduce the cost through the adjustment of cost structure and management of cost,and expands the source of income to realize sustained profit.
