This paper,based on the characteristics and demands of bank P’s client management and the existing problems of client management in private banks,is aimed at designing a data-mining model best catering for the marketing persons,so as to designate a more suitable marketing strategy as well as fulfilling client management of private banks.It is featured by modeling through data mining technology to achieve precise management specified to different types of clients and foster business development using big data.Panoramic view of the clients facilitates analyses including client portraying,lifecycle management,business scale growth analysis,social network analysis,behavior prediction and so on,fostering business development by way of assorted statistics,data mining,and big data technology.The study on the situation of bank P’s potential clients acquisition,combining current condition of client relations management,integrated view of clients,management strategy and marketing system of client relations,proposes major problems bank P has in potential clients’ acquisition,thus laying foundation for improving potential clients acquisition system through data mining.Client stratifying enables private banks to find their depositors duly and accurately,set up warning model for financial client transaction,and achieve precise monitoring on clients’ capital transaction in private banks.Anticipation on and analysis of clients’ capital transaction provides strong theoretical support for salesmen and endows them with flexibility in retaining customers,which increases retention rate.This paper adopts data mining methods including classification,social network analysis,cluster analysis and collaborative filtering algorithm.It first presents an overall understanding of the situations of data-mining technology applying and private clients maintaining,in an attempt to clarify research contents,methods and procedures.Next,it gathers data to discuss research feasibility,after which it detects significant and difficult matters—how to expand new clients,enhance the old and retain the draining in accordance with data mining model.A series of applied researches are carried out to establish data model and demonstrate the plan’s feasibility.Finally,a conclusion derived from the application fruits is reached that data mining technology ensures precise management of clients.
