Case Study On The Projectification Of Dalian ETI Corporation

Basing on the theory and study of project management,projectification comes from the practice of business management,which is an advanced process that helps the enterprises solve problems caused by conflict between task-driven and project-drive management efficiently without redesigning the former organization structure.By studying the case of the projectification of ETI,this paper discusses how the R&D and productive enterprises decrease internal waste,raise management efficiency,optimize allocation of resources,enhance speed of the reaction to the market through projectification process that accomplish the goal of business strategy.Since the supply-side structural reform of China is speeding,there seems to be an increasing trend for these manufacturing firms to change their strategy from low-tech,low-cost,large-scale,low-profit to high-tech,customerization,multispecies,small batch,high-profit.The issue how to reform the organizational structure of the enterprise to adopt the aim of the new strategy,has attracted all the managers of these corporation.The paper analyzes problems through the whole process of the projectification of ETI,which is typical for the manufacturing companies.In this paper,the author discusses how to make the strategy transition stable,how to let the organizational structure follow the business strategy,and how to ensure the compatibility of the management between task and project activities.Basing on management theories and the analysis on the problems during the process of the projectification of ETI,this paper provides an systematical solution.It also introduces the theory,standardization system,implementation steps,issue and solution of projectification as well as training system and enterprise cultural construction.The case and solution has model significance for the companies in strategy transition.
