The Influence Of The Rural Social Exclusion To Farmers Land Use Behavior

Agriculture is the foundation of nation's economic and social development,and its core is the agricultural land.The proper use of agricultural land will directly affect the future agricultural development,and more,the sustainable development of the whole society.Farmers,as the major body of agricultural land use,the basic units of land investment determination,under a certain economy level,resource endowment,land use policy,and diverse households features,their land use behaviors are important to land use efficiency promotion,and land sustainable development.The modern theories have already notice that except for physical factors like the capitals,land and labors,non-physical factors are also important,rural exclusion,as an of those,is significant to rural economic development.Based on the previous research and the theories of economy and social phycology,under the background of scale management and modern agriculture,with the sum of relative paper and field surveys,starting from farmer individual determination,following the routine of social transfer-rural social structure change-rural social differentiation-rural social exclusion-agricultural land use behaviors,this paper defines the rural social exclusion,concludes its concept features,makes and tests the rural social exclusion scale;and studies the how the exclusion affects farmers' land use behavior use regression analysis.The results show that:(1)Rural social exclusion is a social phenomenon and issue that under the comprehensive operation of farmers' own behavior and attitudes,markets and governments,because of the lack of the deserve rewards and rights,some of the farmers individuals or crowds actively or passively cannot engage in the rural life,which cause the decreasing of producing ability and enthusiasm,further more,they are excluded to the village margin area.(2)Under the theoretical analysis,a scale is made and its reliability(Cronbach's Alpha=0.915)and validity(KMO =0.888,sig=0.00)reaches the standard value,shows a good consistency and reliability,through the EFA and CFA,the relation existed in the structure and any of the dimensions are tested,meanwhile,the exclusion is divided into four types as economic exclusion(EE),governance exclusion(GE),value exclusion(VE),relation exclusion(RE).Rural exclusion has the features of closure,complexity,accumulation,results sociality.(3)In the modern rural society,because of the huge living pressure and expense demand,EE is most common and emergent,the dimension value is 27.65%,following by VE as 25.72%,RE as 24.44% and GE as 22.19%.(4)The functional mechanism of rural social exclusion to the land use behavior is start from profits maximization,under this principle's drive,farmers will re-locate their own demand and intention,what the EE,GE,VE and RE means to the farmer is a subtle influence,and will in a certain extent affect the farmers' initiative and enthusiasm,further,they will choose either active or passive land use behavior.(5)Quantitive analysis shows that,the three of farmers' land use behaviors are affected by rural social exclusion.Plant behaviors are affected by the four of EE,GE,VE and RE,positively,shows that lower the exclusion is,higher the produce enthusiasm is;Investment behaviors are affected by the three of EE,GE and RE,positively,shows that lower the exclusion is,more plant investment will be put;Scale management behaviors are affected by the three of EE,GE,positively,shows that lower the exclusion is,stronger the will of scale management is,while on the contrary,VE,negatively.(6)The phenomenon of rural social exclusion is common and usual,and its results are serious in sociality,thus,in the view of EE,perfecting any policy of the agriculture produce chain and maximizating the policy utility is the useful way;in the view of GE,orderly village governors,transparent subsidies,strict monitor system,public feedback path are the four important factors of a harmonious live conditions;in view of VE,the government should strengthen the propaganda,and foster individual farmers,so that the farmer could see the profits of agriculture for themselves;in view of RE,the village administrators need play a part,balance the excluders and excludees,find the balance point,meanwhile,trace back the good culture and traditions,by which they can strengthen the sense of value identity of the villagers.
