Influencing Factors Identification And Trend Forecasting Of China's Construction Labor Cost

For a long time,China's typical “dual economic structure ” provides substantial labor force for the industrialization process,especially the labor-intensive industries.The construction industry,which is the traditional and pillar industry of the national economy,has absorbed a large number of rural surplus labor,just with the competition advantage of low labor cost,China's construction industry entered the international market successfully.However,affected by the decline in absolute number and the imbalance in structure,"labor shortage","recruitment difficult",which originated from the manufacturing industry,has affected the construction industry:both the price of various types of work and the proportion of labor cost occurred different degrees of increase.Therefore,the traditional enterprise management model emphasised on raw materials and machineries,receives great challenge.To do a good job of cost controlling,the main influencing factors identification and forecasting method exploration of construction labor cost is the foundation work.Firstly,the paper combed the concept of labor cost and its constituent elements based on the perspective of human resource management and enterprise accounting respectively,defined the components of construction labor costs clearly from the classification of construction industry practitioners,thus,determined the focus of this study.Except that,the paper also analyzed the representative theories of labor cost.Subsequently,combined with the present situation of labor supply and demand,analyzed the present situation of construction industry labor costs through the development trend of staff and labor workers salary income in construction industry.The paper also conducted a questionnaire investigation involving labor quality?wages ?working conditions and social welfare to excavated the deep contradictions of labor cost in construction industry.Then,the paper makes a simple analysis of the 51 factors that influence the literature identification,by the way of structured interview and the analysis of the current situation of the construction industry labor cost.The following excerpt is to carry out a questionnaire using Likert scale scoring.Conduct a factor analysis of the questionnaire data recovery with the help of SPSS,it indicated that,engineering,macroeconomic,industry,enterprise,construction cost and labor were the six main influencing factors.Sorted by the importance index,the most of construction labor cost were the consumer price index?the gross output value of construction? the total number of construction enterprises and the fixed assets investment of construction.In the end,based on the existing labor cost forecasting,the paper built Gray Combined Model referencing Grey Correlation Degree Model?GM(1,1)and the causal relationship which is the nature of the regression analysis.It proved out that the prediction results of Gray Combined Mode was of higher accuracy.The theoretical research was carried out on the basis of reality.On the one hand,it can lead enterprises to attach great importance to labor cost,on the other,it provides basic support for labor cost management.
