The manufacturing is the main part of China's economy,and it's also the kernel for constructing powerful industrial country.But manufacturing produced a mass of unrecoverable effects to our environment at the time of expending plenty of energy.In the situation of losing the advantages of land and labor force,and facing the challenge of rigorous limit of energy and environment,the only way to make our country to be a powerful industrial country is to promote the Green Manufacturing which develops the manufacture industry efficiently,clean and sustainable.This paper first analyzes the total energy consumption and energy consumption structure of Guangdong Province.The results show that the second industry in Guangdong Province is big energy users in the secondary industry,and the industry is big energy users in the secondary industry.2005-2014 in Guangdong Province,the final energy consumption of coal,oil and electricity accounted for the absolute proportion,which accounted for the largest proportion of electricity consumption.On the basis of this,this paper also illustrates the scale of Guangdong Province's manufacturing industry according to the proportion of above scale manufacturing industry in Guangdong province accounts for the proportion of above scale industrial added value in Guangdong Province in 2005-2014,and also analysis of energy consumption in manufacturing industry and its sub sectors in Guangdong,It is found that there are three kinds of energy sources in Guangdong,such as raw coal,oil and electricity,natural gas and other clean energy use ratio is still relatively low,manufacturing energy consumption accounted for the proportion of industrial energy consumption is an average of 89.91%,The result shows that the energy consumption in Guangdong province is mainly from the manufacturing.Then this paper takes the Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA)as the tool to analyze the Total Factor Energy Efficiency(TFEE)of 27 industries in Guangdong Province between 2005-2014.The result is that tobacco manufacture is the industry with the highest average TFEE,the medical manufacture is the industry with the lowest average TFEE.This paper divides 27 manufacturing industries into 4 categories according the amount of energy consumption and TFEE of every single industry,they are high energy consumption and high efficiency,high energy consumption and low efficiency,low energy consumption and high efficiency,low energy consumption and low efficiency.From the changing of TFEE in this decade,there is no convergency happened in all of the industries.The change of TFEE of most industries holds the line or just decline a little.The oil processing,coke smelt and nuclear fuel processing become the faster growing industry,and the textile industry and non-metallic mineral industry become the faster depression industry.Secondly,this paper moves forward to research the Malmquist productivity change index of 27 industries in Guangdong Province between 2005-2014 by DEA Malmquist index,then decomposes it into technical efficiency change index and technical improvement change index,the result shows that the productivity change only declined at 2007-2008 which in the decade of 2005-2014,others all increased,technical improvement effected the changing of Guangdong manufacturing productivity more than technical efficiency.The technical efficiency increased and declined alternatively,and the technical improvement increased at this decade except 2007-2008.And for every single industry,Telecommunication device,computer and electrical device,ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industries,the reason why their productivity increased less is that the technical improvement increased less,and technical efficiency increased less is resulted in the textile industry increased less.Then,this paper explored the energy conservation of the 27 industries.We found textile industry is the No.1 in the list of wasting energy industries,the paper-making and paper production industry follow it.But the TFEE of paper-making and paper production industry both reached effective,and their energy input could be adjusted down to 0 at 2013 and 2014,it means that the energy conservation and emission reduction has achieved initial success.Finally,this paper gives suggestions based on the result of analyzation above.
