Modeling And Application Of Regional Economic Analysis On SPSS

Since the 1990 s,with the acceleration of global development and economic integration,the competition between countries and regions has gradually evolved into competition at the city level.While the cities have encountered more and more challenges and opportunities,the only way for the city to stay in a favorable position is to enhance its own competitiveness continuously.By means of highlighting the superiority and practicability of SPSS,this paper intends to intends to explore the importance and significance of the research in the light of the demand and application of SPSS in economic data analysis.In view of the comparative analysis of the regional economic development in Jiujiang,YiChang,YueYang,WuHu and YangZhou,this paper constructs the evaluation index system of urban competitiveness based on the statistical analysis software SPSS firstly.The five node cities along the Yangtze River such as Jiujiang,YiChang,YueYang,WuHu and YangZhou are taken as research samples.A quantitative evaluation and comparative analysis of the city competitiveness based on the factor analysis method is carried out to discuss the existing gaps and advantages of cities along the river of Jiangxi compared with their counterparts of other provinces,as well as the overall development pattern of Jiujiang.On this basis,this paperproposes measures to raise theoverall competitiveness of the riverside area of JiuJiang,which would also be used as reference for the relevant departments.
