Community residents' perception on the economic, social, cultural and environmental impact brought about by tourism can largely determine community residents' attitude toward tourism development.Sustained and healthy development of tourism destination depends on the support of the local residents. To explore the diachronic changes and its influential factors of tourism perception can provide scientific and reasonable suggestions for the further development of tourism destination.Took tourism impact perception of community residents as the breakthrough point, the author investigated tourism impact perception of Dangjia Village,Hancheng City of Shaanxi Province in 2014 and 2017 respectively. With reference to the research results of former scholars and based on the Doxey's stage theory of tourism development, the paper studied villagers' tourism perception changes in recent ten years. In addition, through preliminary analysis of the interviews with villagers,it found out the reasons that result in changes of tourism perception;through data analysis of the questionnaire,it further demonstrated relationship between external factors and internal community participation factors that exerted impact on the villagers' tourism perception. This study has obtained the following findings:(1)Based on the former study in 2006,the villagers' positive perception of tourism impact was strong, while negative perception was weak, and villagers held a positive attitude towards tourism development.Comparatively speaking, the villagers' tourism impact perception in 2014 overall became slightly negative, and attitude towards tourism development is fairly positive. However,Dangjia villagers' perception of positive tourism impact in 2017 decreased significantly, while negative perception significantly went up,and support for tourism development decreased obviously.(2)In the past,a lot of research proved that there is a positive correlation relationship between tourism impact perception and general attitude towards tourismat a certain time.Based on the conclusion, this study verified there is a positive correlation relationship between tourism impact perception and general attitude from the perspective of a dynamic change.(3)As the tourism development of Dangjia village, the villagers' positive perception of tourism impact is abating, while negative perception is strengthening, presenting the tendency of transiting from “harmony” stage to “indifference” stage. In this paper, through diachronic analysis from the perspective of dynamic changes,it verified the stage theory of tourism development.(4)There is a correlation among tourism policy, community participation and tourism impact perception and attitude.Under the influence of the external tourism policy, villagers' expectation for tourism benefit went up,while insufficient community participation blocked villagers' way to obtain further benefit from tourism. The gap between the expected high benefit and actual low benefit intensified the villagers' discontent, giving rise to the villagers indifferent attitude towards tourism and the growth of negative perceptions on tourism.
