Fierce market competition requires enterprises to reform management thought and take the product development model for enterprises advancing with the times.In order to improve their core competitiveness,enterprises strengthen the cooperation between enterprises.The collaborative product development across enterprise is becoming more and more important.To the enterprise,the product quality is not the key to obtain the competitive market,but only a basic standard.The product development cycle and the time to market is the most important factor to obtain the market.In the process of collaborative product development,early supplier's involvement in collaborative product development is an important means to shorten the development cycle,and the time of early supplier involvement is the key factor to influence the product development cycle,If the timing is not right,it will not only increase the time of product development,but also increase the additional cost.In order to meet the needs of enterprise competition,improve the efficiency of collaborative product development,exploring a scientific and reasonable method to determine the time of downstream early supplier's involvement in collaborative product development has become an urgent problem.Therefore,this paper proposed a new method based on the knowledge Ohm law for the early downstream supplier involvement in the product development time.This paper studied the definition,characteristics,process and knowledge transfer process of supplier early involvement in collaborative product development,and found the essence of knowledge transfer process in upstream and downstream during overlapped product development and the important influence of early downstream supplier participation time on product development time,a method for the downstream suppliers to participate in collaborative product development time based on knowledge Ohm's law was proposed,the hierarchical structure,main contents,implementation process and key problems to be solved were also explored.The degree of knowledge progress of upstream manufacturers and downstream suppliers was measured with knowledge accumulation function.The knowledge potential function and the knowledge barrier function of upstream and downstream activities were constructed,and the intensity of knowledge flow is calculated by the Ohm's law of knowledge.Analyzed the factors affecting the downstream supplier knowledge rework time.The probability function of the downstream knowledge rework is established,and the invalid knowledge and the rework time are calculated by the downstream knowledge rework probability function based on the knowledge of the probability of error function on the upstreamIn order to obtain the time of early downstream supplier involvement in collaborative product development,and the concepts of degree of knowledge difficulty and knowledge dependence are proposed,a mathematical model of the time of early downstream supplier involvement in the collaborative product development was constructed based on the law of Ohm's knowledge,and the model is simulated under MATLAB environment.Finally,the study results of this paper were applied,and the application results were analyzed,and the effectiveness and rationality of the proposed method were proved.
