Analysis On The Demand And The Influencing Factors Of Long-term Care Insurance In Chongqing

ObjectiveThis research is put forward under the background of the aging,aiming at meeting the demand of middle aged and elderly people for Long-term Care Insurance.Through analyzing the influencing factors of demand of Chongqing middle aged and elderly people for Long-term Care Insurance,learning the successful experience of developed countries,come up with periodical suggestion on developing the Long-term Care Insurance.MethodAnalyze 187 pieces of literature on Long-term Care Insurance;Conduct interviews with 7 specialists on Social Insurance,Health Management etc.And taking the middle-aged and old people as investigation object,365 pieces of questionnaires are administered to people in 6 districts and counties,of which 361 pieces are valid.ResultAnalyze the current situation of demand of Long-term Care Insurance;Discuss the influencing factors of demand;Summarize the reason,the status of development,the tendency,the experience and the enlightenment of developed countries.Finally based on the status of China,come up with suggestions.Conclusion& SuggestionFinally,we come to the conclusion that the demand of long-term care insurance is not enough,the reason lies in the conflict between the insurance fee and ability to pay it,moreover,the lack of knowledge on long-term care insurance also lead to the conclusion.So,Building an effective developing mode and system for Long-term Care Insurance,improving the elderly income,reducing the cost of long-term care insurance,enhancing the capacity of understanding the long-term care insurance,improving quality of service for Long-term Care Insurance become the important way to increase its demand.
