With the process of globalization and informatization,the role of logistics industry played in manufacturing and consumption sectors become more and more evident.Many scholars and policy makers have realized that.We have much more demands for the logistics services and its land use during the urban transforming process,which includes the reconstruction of industry,urban space and urban transportation.Logistics has become an important part of the global production network.Foreign research mainly focused on the "logistics sprawl" phenomenon,impact,and influencing factors.Compare to the research in western developed countries,the research about logistics industry in China is falling behind for the short history of development of logistics industry.Most research papers about logistics in China are finished by economists and transportation geographers,while few of them refer to the topic about the spatial-temporal configuration of logistics activity in urban level.In addition,the spatial structure of urban functional land in China mainly concentrated in residential land,industrial land,etc.There are few studies on the spatial and temporal evolution of logistics space and facilities.Therefore,this paper chooses logistics land in Chongqing city as the research object,from the changes of quantity and evolution of spatial layout two aspects,using a lot of data like Statistical Yearbooks,maps of urban construction land distribution.Methods of GIS Analysis are used to imply the evolution process of spatial configuration of logistics activity from 2005 to 2015.In the end this paper explores the key factors influencing quantity change of logistics land,and constitute a "market-government" dual-track driving mechanism of spatial-temporal evolution logistics land.First of all,this paper reviews the relevant foreign research of logistics space structure from cities and enterprises level,focusing on the expansion pattern,the influence and the driven factors of "logistics spread".And summarize logistics geography and urban spatial structure of domestic research.Secondly,this paper analyzes the change of quantity of logistics land in Chongqing city from 2005 to 2015.It finds out from 2005 to 2008,the area of logistics land are volatility decreased,and increase rapidly from 2009 to 2015.This paper classifies 9 districts in Chongqing city into 3 categories,Yubei district,Shapingba district,Jiangbei district,Jiulongpo district,Banan district are rapid developing type;Nanan district,Yuzhong district,Beibei district are steady developing type;Dadukou district is revision type.Thirdly,this paper using stepwise regression and principal component analysis to extract the core driving forces of quantity change,and analyzing comparatively the core influence factors of logistics land expansion in Chongqing city.The influence factors of logistics land expansion in Chongqing city include urban sprawl,industrial development and transportation infrastructure construction.Urban sprawl and industrial development compose the ?Pulling force? of quantity change of logistics land,and transportation infrastructure construction is the ?Driving force?.The core drive factors of logistics land‘s quantity change in each district of Chongqing city are different.Next,this paper summarizes the characteristics of spatial evolution of logistics land in Chongqing city.From the distance dimension,logistics land spread to the outskirts of the city,and the distribution of the logistics land in each circle area tend to equalize,the growth of logistics land is spatial decentralization.In the directional dimension,the distribution of logistics warehousing facilities shows a ?uniform-clustering? distribution trend,the main expansion directions are the north,the northeast,the northwest,the west four directions,and the expansion with stage characteristics.As time increases,the number of logistics land patches presented "U" shaped increase,the evolution of landscape pattern was "compact-dispersion" trend.And the logistics land landscape showed obvious gradient characteristics,the number of patches and plaque density decreased from the inside to the outside,the degree of landscape fragmentation also gradually reduced.In addition,the logistics facilities concentrated area spread out from the inner city,jump from southwest to northeast.The spatial density and spatial level of logistics facilities in the ever-changing,and format multi-center clustering model.The spatial correlation of logistics space was positive n,and positive spatial correlation decreases first and then increases with the trend of "U".It shows the spatial evolution of "agglomeration-random-agglomeration" in Chongqing city.Finally,the evolution of the logistics land is forced by the spatial adjustment of industrial layout,competition in the urban construction land market,upgrade of the transportation network,regulation of the urban plan,rapid promotion of special economic zones,and game results of all levels of government.All the driving factors constitute a "market-government" dual-track driving mechanism.
