A Study On Application Of PMIS Of Quan Zhou Highway Company

If a traditional highway construction enterprise want to keep advance in the environment of the fierce market competition,it must improve the level of enterprise management,so using the information system of management is the only way to reach such goal.In recent years,with the growing of information technology and the development of hardware and software of computer and network,make it possible that the construction enterprise can control projects with more delicacy by using the software of project management.Quan Zhou Highway Company applied the project management information system before the other Chinese construction enterprises,so it make a precious opportunity for studying the applying of information system of management in construction enterprise.Firstly,this thesis introduce the main function of the project management information system of Quan Zhou Highway Company after studying the relative theories.Secondly,by analyzing the problems occurring during the implementation of PMIS of Quan Zhou Highway Company,this thesis give suggestions according to such problems.Finally,this thesis make conclusions which could help construction enterprise to apply PMIS,such as: it should reform the organization,workflows and institutions of the company from a whole look;a qualify software provider is the key word of succeed of PMIS;PMIS must be tested sufficiently before it being carried out,and applying in the whole company step by step,and shouldn't expect the function of PMIS can be omnipotent;PMIS couldn't be changed into face-saving project;it should be suitable for Large and medium-sized construction enterprise to use ready-made software of PMIS.There are many theoretical studies of information system of the construction industry,meanwhile,there are rare studies of actual effect of the PMIS after applying in the construction-company,and even more rare focus on problems,and this is the main innovation points in this paper.How to choice and apply PMIS based on enterprise's actual situation and void the PMIS become the vase or the burden of enterprise is the problem that all the construction enterprises have to face.From the perspective of enterprise management and project management,this thesis give a relatively comprehensive analysis of the instance of how to applying PMIS,which can be useful for other construction enterprises to reference.
