Along with the scholars' researches to exploration and exploitation,organizational ambidexterity has also caught more and more attention of scholars in the field of innovation,scholars consider that it can help enterprise to last innovation revenues to implement explorative innovation and exploitative innovation.Although many scholars at home and abroad have research the definition,connotation,classification,antecedents of ambidexterity and its influence on enterprise,there is still insufficient in the field of ambidexterity innovation and remains to be further discussed.This paper uses a multi-level network model to study the ambidexterity innovation,because the network is a multi-level situation,it has the effect of crossing different levels of analysis.Simultaneously,it can be more deeply to describe organization phenomenon and to integrate social phenomenon.Aiming at the shortcomings of the existing research,this paper combine with the related theoretical development,and break through the traditional view of research.Based on organizational ambidexterity,this paper reveal the effect and mechanism of the multi-level network structure characteristics on ambidexterity innovation.Taking the high-tech enterprises in the Pearl River Delta region as the research object,through questionnaire investigation,using the method of empirical research,this paper mainly studies the following problems:(1)to explore the effects of network structure characteristics of different levels,it's to say enterprise level such as network position capability,bilateral level such as network relation intensity,on different types of innovation;(2)reveals the influence of the network structure's interaction of different levels on the type of innovation;(3)on the basis of this,the paper gives some suggestions on the selection of innovation types,and provide reference and guidance for the enterprise by using ambidexterity innovation to obtain competitive advantage.Through empirical analysis,this paper finds that: First,the relationship between network position capability and ambidexterity innovation is significantly positive correlation,the relationship between network relation intensity and ambidexterity innovation is also significantly positive correlation.Second,this paper examines the moderating effect of network heterogeneity between network position capability and ambidexterity innovation,and also between network relation intensity and ambidexterity innovation.The results show that network heterogeneity positively moderates the relationship between network position capability and explorative innovation,and also network relation intensity and explorative innovation;but negatively moderates the relationship between network position capability and exploitative innovation,and also network relation intensity and exploitative innovation.
