Industrial agglomeration is an inevitable phenomenon in the flow and allocation of production factors. It is an important subject in academic research. For a long time, most of these studies have focused on manufacturing and high-tech industries. The research on service agglomeration is relatively less, and the relevant research is mostly concentrated on the manufacture-related service industry. The agglomeration of service industry can enhance the resource integration ability of the agglomeration enterprise and reduce the production cost.It is also beneficial to the efficient and rapid dissemination of similar information between the same industry and promote the technological innovation of the industry. This is an effective way to develop and consolidate the overall strength of the service industry. As the world economy transforming to a service economy,it is of great practical significance to study the impact of service agglomeration on the economic growth, especially for China's industrial policy practice in transition. This paper mainly uses the method of spatial econometrics to measure the influence of the agglomeration level and the agglomeration structure of the service industry on the time and space dimension of the regional economic growth from the perspective of regional economic growth efficiency.First of all,on the basis of previous studies, the author briefly reviews the theory of industrial agglomeration, the theory of economic growth and the relationship between industrial agglomeration and economic growth.Secondly, the stochastic frontier production function method(SFA)is used to measure the regional economic growth efficiency, and the agglomeration level and agglomeration structure of each segmentation service industry are measured by using the location entropy and the improvement of the Herfindahl index.Models were constructed and analyzed combining with spatial econometrics methods, and it is found that the service sector segmentation pattern of economic growth is not the same:the manufacture-related service industry has no significant impact on the local economy, and it has a significant inhibitory effect on the surrounding cities;Competitive agglomeration in consumer services promotes the economic development of local and surrounding cities. The diversification of distributed service industry promotes the development of surrounding cities, and the competitive agglomeration hinders the economic development of local and surrounding cities. There is obvious spatial spillover effect in the competitive clustering of social service industry.
