The Analysis Of China’s Export Firm Followers Benefit From The Spillover Effect Of Pioneers

Based on the frontier of the new new economic geography(NNEG),this paper constructs the "pioneer-follower" model of the export enterprise on the basis of the dynamic trade model of the heterogeneous enterprise,and finds out the productivity of the export pioneer has a significant role in promoting the productivity of export followers through the hierarchical linear model and the leading pioneer promotes the productivity of followers obviously.Meanwhile,pioneer aggregation will produce spillover effect and crowding effect,and the marginal growth of the number of exporter pioneers will have an impact on the export followers’ productivity.This paper also analyzes the spillover effect of pioneers from the aspects of regional heterogeneity,time heterogeneity,industry heterogeneity and product heterogeneity.From the region heterogeneity point of view,the economically developing regions compared to the economically developed regions,the external spillover effect of export enterprise pioneer is more conducive to promote the productivity of the export followers to.From the time heterogeneity point of view,the survival time of export pioneer exporting new product is different from the market,so the spillover effect is different.The study founds that the productivity of export enterprise followers is positively related with the survival time of export enterprise pioneer exporting new product.From the industry heterogeneity point of view,the pioneers of the same industry followers are more effective than non-industry followers.From product heterogeneity,exporting manufactures can increase their productivity by absorbing more technical information than exporting non-manufactures.
