With the development of science and technology,information technology has been widely used in the power industry.In order to improve the power equipment maintenance and maintenance efficiency,to strengthen the management of the electric equipment,electric power departments will be based on the management of the electric equipment in advanced communication technology,network technology and information technology.Because of the information data of electric power equipment is huge,the original manual record has been unable to meet the demand of modern power equipment management information system,so by GIS,the real-time position information display device,data acquisition equipment has become the development trend of the modern electric power equipment management.But the process of the establishment of GIS system is very complicated,in order to ensure the construction quality and schedule system,based on a GIS project as the research object,research on progress management of the project,analyzes the existing problems in the process of project construction,and the corresponding optimization.This article reviewed the present situations of domestic and foreign project schedule management,provide methods and theoretical guidance for the study of this paper,and then elaborates on the theory of schedule management in schedule management,key technologies of job analysis,critical path and program evaluation and review technique and so on.Applying the above theories and methods,this paper analyzes the problems existing in the progress management of GIS project,and analyzes the causes of the problems.According to the schedule of the process of GIS project schedule development process described in this paper,the enactment of this project,to complete the drawing schedule network diagram,and the probability of program evaluation and review technique of project completion calculation.Finally,through the time-cost balance method to optimize the project schedule.Through the study of this article will optimize the progress of the GIS project,after the optimization of the project to reduce the duration of 7 days,an increase of cost of $5000.The research process of this paper has certain theoretical significance and guiding value to the formulation and management of the project schedule and the optimization of the project schedule.
