Research On The Relationship Between Chenglingji Yueyang Water Port Logistics And Hunan Economic Growths

Economic globalization has become the tendency of world economic development.In order to enhance the competitiveness of domestic opening regional economic and national foreign trade,to optimize the allocation of domestic and foreign products and means of production,efforts should be made to build a port platform and the development of port logistics,and create a good environment for the port.Port is a gateway to open to the outside world,and the bridge of international trade.In the import and export goods circulation,ports provide services of customs clearance,commodity inspection,storage,processing,transport loading and unloading,finance and insurance.The effect of industrialconglomeration and scale economies are therefore formed,which made a great contribution to the development of regional economy.Abundant evident proves that the port has become the core strategic resource and an important platform to support the export-oriented economy.The purpose of this paper is to explore the economic contribution of port logistics to the hinterland,and put forward the countermeasures to develop port logisticsIn order to study the relationship between port logistics and hinterland economy,this paper uses two methods,which are qualitative and quantitative,respectively.In the qualitative research,this paper expounds the definition,classification and the connotation of port logistics,and discusses the promotion of hinterland economic development of port logistics under the framework of regional economic growth.As to quantitative research,this paper uses Hunan Yueyang Chenglingji Waterway Port as an example,selects 10 years' import and export container data and GDP index in Hunan,studies on the relationship between the two through timing analysis and the establishment of single linear regression model,using the Eviews software to analyze the correlation of data.The results showed that Yueyang Chenglingji Waterway Port Logistics and economic growth of Hunan Province have stable equilibrium relationship.Not only had the port logistics stimulated the hinterland economy,but the local economic growth also has promoted the development of port logistics.Finally,according to the actual situation of the empirical results and Yueyang Chenglingji Waterway Port development,the paper proposes three aspects of policy recommendations as port upgrade,water express and port economy.
