Influential Factors Of Transport Capacity Based On Structure Equation Model

Transportation plays an important role in the social economic development.As the basic industry of the national economy,Transportation is the lifeblood of the national economy and the prerequisite for the harmonious development of the other productive sectors of the national economy.It is the prerequisite for the efficient production of modern socialization and also the basic link for the continuation of social reproduction.However,with the changing of the market economy environment,the urban space expanding unceasingly makes the pressure rising ceaselessly which the city transportation ability facing.In this situation,studying the influencing factors of transportation capacity is not only to help to comprehensively understand the impact of various factors on the transport capacity,but also to provide the basis for the realization of each factor and the interactive development of transportation,so that the city will be go into an orderly,lasting and healthy situation.Based on the summary of predecessors' papers and theories,combined with the characteristics of transportation capacity,the Structural Equation Model is taken as the empirical analysis method.From the capability of support,conveyance and hub of transportation,which is called Endogenous Latent Variables,to determine the agricultural,industrial,financial and demographic conditions,that is called the Exogenous Latent Variable.Under the premise of taking into account the comprehensive impact of various factors,selecting the corresponding variables of each latent variable,finally find out the Influence ability and extent of each exogenous latent variable.In order to understand the transportation situation of different provinces and cities in China,this paper collects the data related to transportation from China national knowledge internet and Statistical yearbook of China from 2010-2014 and established the structural equation model according to the causal relationship between various factors and transportation capacity and done the structural equation analyzing.After studying it is found that population status,industrial status showed no significant negative correlation with the traffic development support capacity,but the financial status has the greatest influence on the traffic support capability.The order of influence of transportation capacity is industrial status,financial status,population status,and agricultural status.The population condition has the greatest influence on the transportation hub capacity.With the exception of industrial conditions,the other three factors were significantly positively correlated.Finally,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the results of empirical research,which helps to make scientific planning and reasonable arrange the overall development of urban transportation.
