Research On Double Objective Location Problem Of Fresh Food Cold Storages In Dalian

With the development of living standards in recent years,people's demond for vegetables,fruit and meat is larger and larger.Because fresh food is perishable,we should control the temperature strictly in the process of transportation and storage to preserve the quality of the food.It is hard to control the decay rate which is affected by the late start of Chinese cold chain logistics and unadvanced infrastructure facilities.Luckily,government has realized the importance of cold chain logistics and introduced various policies to promote the development of cold chain industry.Some famous logistics enterprises are also constantly improving the layout of cold chain logistics throughout the country,investing heavily to build the cold storage,and purchasing refrigeration equipments and cold transportation vehicles.These measures will be beneficial to the growth of cold chain logistics.In addition,cold storages get widely attention as important infrastructures to keep the freshness of all kinds of fresh food.Modern cold storages are no longer the warehouses which are used to store the food,they are slowly developing to the low temperature distribution centers and meeting the urban distribution and service requirements of fresh food e-business.It is important to study the location problem of cold storages in that it will not only reduce the transportation,infrastructure and other cost,but also enable customers to obtain higher satisfaction.This paper firstly reviews relative literature at home and abroad on site selection of storages and introduces definition and characteristics of fresh food cold chain logistics definition,characteristics and operation process;The definition of fresh cold storage,classification and characteristics.Secondly,analyzes the principles,objectives and factors of cold storages location,using them to pre-locate and determine alternative address.Thirdly,introduces the concept of customer satisfaction value when establishing the model;studies the various factors that affect the value of customer satisfaction;establishes customer satisfaction value function,and puts forward a new double target model combined with the traditional single objective location model.Finally,employs the model to solve SF EXPERSS cold storages location problem in Dalian;uses LINGO software to select one or several cold storages from five alternative addresses.
