With the development of economy and the tourism industry,accelerate the development of China's catering industry pace,China's catering enterprise hardware has caught up with the international level,the competition between the dining enterprise transformation from the brand competition for talent competition,talent has become the core of the catering enterprise development competitiveness.The management concept of "people first" has been paid much attention to in the catering industry.It is one of the important contents in the management of the catering industry to attract excellent talents,retain talents and fully activate the talents.Effective incentives for employees become an important means of retaining talent.The theoretical basis of this thesis is Mallow's hierarchy of needs.The research methods include literature retrieval,comparative analysis,interview survey and case analysis.First of all,this paper analyzes the current situation of human resources in China's catering industry.Among them,the characteristics of human resources in China's catering industry are mainly characterized by low cultural level,low overall wage level,large age span,large regional span,and regarded as a springboard for the work of catering industry.The characteristics of front-line staff's work environment include high customer demand,high service pressure,long working hours,heavy training tasks and fluctuating demand,which have a great impact on employees.The current status of human resource management in the catering industry is mainly reflected the concept of human resources personnel is difficult to change,backward management methods,management system is not mature,from the boss to the system of supervision mode transformation.Secondly,the main reference incentive way of catering enterprises at home and abroad successful bench marking analysis staff,front-line employee motivation in China's progress: employee welfare improvement,strengthen staff training,pay attention to employee mental stimulation,pay attention to enterprise culture propaganda,to care and respect for employees,employee participation in enterprise management etc..Finally,on the basis of Mallow's hierarchy of needs theory,this paper sums up the existing problems and improvement aspects of staff motivation in domestic catering enterprises.The final list of A enterprises,through interviews and questionnaires are analyzed in the aspect of human resources management of A enterprises at present,and conducted a questionnaire survey of 160 employees,through the analysis of the survey results,summed up the A enterprise incentive problems in employee compensation: unfair distribution the staff and the staff dormitory,dining environment,staff training,staff promotion effect of the narrow space of corporate culture,lack of publicity,emotional incentive is not in place.Finally,according to these problems,some countermeasures are put forward.
