Currently, most of the public transport enterprises in China were in a monopoly position. With the development of socio-economic, public transport enterprises face competitive pressures will continue to intensify. Therefore, the bus companies need to establish an effective performance management system to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.Through further investigation on the front-line staff performance status of the X Bus Group and combined with the theoretical basis of corporate human resources management, the author design a key performance indicators system for the front-line staff of the X Bus Group to improve the company’s human resources management. The key performance indicators system will provide an objective standard to establish a more equitable work environment for employees.Considering the performance management for the public transport enterprises are in a preliminary stage, the author hope to give the companies as well as public transport enterprises of the same industry to provide a reference, and also contribute to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises of the urban public transport industry.
